Before we get started we should note that emulation software may be legal, downloading ROM images (a version of the game in software form) from the internet is not.
Emulators play the games you already own, which means you’ll need to erase the ROM files.
RetroArch the emulator for every console, is able to run retro games. It can run Playstation 1 and older games on the home console, and Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Advance games on handheld consoles.

Dolphin emulates the GameCube/Wii console, and is the sole emulator capable of doing so. This emulator has a high compatibility score and this means it can likely play your favourite games.
The emulator allows you to play your GameCube game on a high-definition screen, even if the device doesn’t support it. The emulator is in continuous development. Their latest version can utilize the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. You can expect constant improvements and updates.

It’s evident that the Playstation 2 has been a massive success. With PCSX2, you can play the huge backlog of Playstation 2 games.
However, the emulator requires the use of a powerful computer due to the PS2’s internal architecture. But if it has the necessary hardware, it can play the majority of the PS2’s games.
PCSX2 is based on a plug-in-based system and with the proper configurations you can upgrade your games to HD quality. There’s a Mac version, but it’s not upgraded.
PCSX2 is compatible with Windows or Linux.
Playstation Portable Simulator Suitable fpr Playing Portably(PPSSPP) is an entirely new emulator. It allows users to play PSP games. It was designed by one of the cofounders of Dolphin. It is easy to set up and can run a variety of PSP games.
It is possible to move your PSP files into it, and you can go back to where you were. PPSSPP is still being developed with new features and fixes constantly being added.
PPSSPP operates in Windows, macOS Linux, and on mobile devices.
